Kids' Juneteenth: Let's Talk About Justice

  • Santa Fe Main Library Community Room 145 Washington Avenue Santa Fe, NM, 87501 (map)

Ignite your inner activist in this interactive hour of discussion and discovery designed for the next generation of leaders. Drawing on the brave story of Opal Lee, we’ll dive into the importance of being a voice for justice and freedom for everyone in our communities, and why Juneteenth is a joyous holiday for all Americans to celebrate. We’ll discuss what equality, equity, and liberation mean in our own communities, and how we can turn inspiration into action.

For ages 10-12.
